Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Our refund and returns policy last 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at orders@ripplebeams.com and send your item to our office address.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Sales and Purchase Contract – Legacy Online Shop

  1. GENERAL
  2. Ripple Beams Limited is an entity incorporated in Nigeria and operates under the brand name “Legacy”.  For purposes of this Sales and Purchase Contract, “we” or “us” or “our” or “seller” shall refer to Ripple Beams Limited t/a Legacy.
  3. We operate this Legacy Online Shop in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Sales and Purchase Contract.
  4. We provide this Sales and Purchase Contract in the English language only. Please contact us should you require assistance in another language.
  5. FORMATION OF CONTRACT
  6. Our Legacy Online Shop offers a form in which customers can enter their personal details, purchase and delivery specifications (e.g. phone no, delivery address etc.).  By selecting a product on the website and completing the said form and clicking the ‘ORDER’ button, selecting one of the payment methods available on the Legacy Online Shop, you acknowledge that you initiated a binding offer with Ripple Beams Limited electronically.
  7. Once you receive an order confirmation, the Sales and Purchase Contract is deemed entered into between you and us in respect of that particular purchase until delivery is done in accordance with the information you provided to us in the form mentioned above or termination whichever is applicable.
  8. It is considered an order confirmation once the respective delivery company sends delivery details to you via any means of communication which you have provided.
  9. OPENING OF CUSTOMER’S ACCOUNT 
    1. You may select to open a customer account with us (“Legacy Account”).  Please note that this is not mandatory and is an option available to you for ease of repeat purchases through the Legacy Online Shop.
    1. When opening a Legacy Account you will be required to provide some personal information which may include email address, product delivery address, telephone number, user ID and password.
    1. It is your duty to keep your Legacy Account details confidential as we will not be liable for losses you may suffer as a result of any activity occurring on your Legacy Account which you have not authorized.
    1. You shall notify us in writing via our “Contact Us” page once you notice that your login details are disclosed to a third party.
    1. If you wish to cancel your Legacy Account, you may do so at any time.
  10. PRICING AND PAYMENTS
    1. The product prices reflected on Legacy Online Shop are fixed and are not subject to negotiation.
    1. We reserve the right to review the price of our products from time to time without notice to you and any price revisions we have made will become effective as soon as it is visible on the Legacy Online Shop.
    1. Delivery charges shall be for your account and shall be calculated based on information provided by you when making an order.
  1. DELIVERY
    1. Once you have received delivery of your products, the Sales and Purchase Contract has been performed fully and therefore it automatically terminates.
    1. The rescheduling of delivery for a later date by you attracts extra charges which shall be payable by you to us.
  2. BEST EFFORTS

Subject to the provisions of this Sales and Purchase contract we and our vendors shall use our best efforts to deliver products on time. We shall not be liable for late delivery and damaged products resulting from any situation beyond our control.

  1. ELIGIBILITY 

Only persons of 18 years and above are eligible to form a legally binding Sales and Purchase Contract. Therefore, you are permitted to purchase products from the Legacy Online Shop if you are 18 years and above. If you wish to purchase products from the Legacy Online Shop as a minor, you are advised to do it through a guardian or parent who has a registered Legacy Account.  Upon the discovery that you are a minor, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Legacy Account.

  1. FORCE MAJEURE
    1. We shall neither be liable for any breach of our obligations under the Sales and Purchase Contract to you nor for any failure or delay in performance of any obligations under the Sales and Purchase arising from or attributable to acts, events, omissions or accidents beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, where our failure to perform our obligations arise from:
    1. an act of God, fire, flood, earthquake, windstorm or other natural disaster, explosion or accidental damage, war, threat of or preparation for war, armed conflict, imposition of sanctions, embargo, export controls, breaking off of diplomatic relations or similar actions, terrorist attack, civil war, civil commotion or riots, pandemic or epidemic, industrial disputes, shortages of raw materials or components, general disruptions to transportation, telecommunication systems, power supply or other utilities;
    2. The acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions imposed by any government or state;
    1. The actions or omissions of the third parties;
    1. Malfunctions in communications facilities which cannot reasonably be considered to be under our control and that may affect the accuracy or timeliness of messages you send to us;
    1. Any losses or delays in transmission of messages arising out of the use of any internet access service provider or caused by any browser or other software which is not under our control;
    1. Any malicious code interfering with the Legacy Online Shop.
    1. Performance under the Sales and Purchase Contract shall be deemed suspended for the period that any of the abovementioned Force Majeure Events continue and the time for performance will be extended for the duration of that period.  We will use our reasonable endeavors to find a solution by which our obligations under the Sales and Purchase Contract may be resumed despite the Force Majeure Event.
  2. RETURN AND REFUND
  3. How to return and exchange:
    1. Contact us via our “contact us” page and we will communicate with you and guide you on how to commence and where to direct the products you are returning.
    1. Once we receive your returned product, we will inspect it and, depending on the outcome of our inspection, process your refund within 7 business days.
  4. Who pays for return shipping:
  5. If you wish to return the products, please note that you are responsible for the payment of any associated costs resulting from the return of the product.
  6. We take responsibility for the payment of such return fee if we confirm that the products suffered manufacturing defect.
  7. Conditions of products returned:
    1. The returned products must be in the same condition in which you received them, items must be unused and with the original packaging.
    1. Note that the products are your responsibility until we have received them, so make sure items  are securely packaged to avoid any damage during transit.
  8. LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY
    1. We, our affiliates, suppliers, and officers are not liable to you for any loss, liability, damage or injury suffered by you (whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential) whatsoever as a result of any actions or omissions by us, our affiliates, suppliers and officers or any third parties.  We accordingly disclaim all liability.
    1. You hereby indemnify us, our affiliates, suppliers, and officers and agree to hold us, our affiliates, suppliers and officers harmless against any loss, liability, costs and damages which we may suffer as a result of your actions and omissions.
  9. OUR RIGHT TO VARY THIS SALES AND PURCHASE CONTRACT
  10. We reserve the right to revise, amend or replace this Sales and Purchase Contract from time to time.
  11. The amended Sales and Purchase Contract, as of its revision date, will apply to any newly ordered products.
  12. Changes to this Sales and Purchase Contract which are (a) more favourable to you; (b) required by law; or (c) relate to the addition of a new service or extra functionality to the existing Legacy Online Shop; or (d) any other change which neither reduces your rights nor increase your responsibilities, will come into effect immediately.  You may always select to cease the use of our Legacy Online Shop upon such change.
  13. Our Sales and Purchase Contract in force at the time that you purchase product from the Legacy Online Shop will have effect between you and us for the purpose of that Sales and Purchase Contract.  We may notify you of a change to the Sales and Purchase Contract after you purchase product but before we send you the confirmation of order, in which case, unless you notify us within a reasonable period of time and in any event within 5 business days should you wish to cancel the Sales and Purchase Contract, the revised terms and conditions of the Sales and Purchase Contract will apply.
  14. PARTY RIGHTS

A person who is not a party to this Sales and Purchase Contract shall have no rights to enforce the provisions of this Sales and Purchase Contract.

  1. RESOLUTION OF DISPUTE

In the event a dispute shall arise out of or in connection with the Sales and Purchase Contract, it shall be referred to a mediation or arbitration panel for resolution in English and in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act of Nigeria.

  1. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
  2. This Sales and Purchase Contract and any document expressly referred to in them constitute the whole agreement between us and you and supersede all previous discussions, correspondence, negotiations, previous arrangement, understanding or agreement between us and you relating to the terms and subject matter reflected in this Sales and Purchase Contract.
  3. You acknowledge that, in making a purchase on the Legacy Online Shop you are entering into this Sales and Purchase contract, and you do not rely on, or will have no remedies in respect of, any representation or warranty (whether made innocently or negligently) that is not expressly set out in this Sales and Purchase Contract or any other documents referred to in the Sales and Purchase Contract.
